About Us

Hi, I’m Laura Histon — wife, mama of three, and the hands behind every bar of Lulu Lamb soap.

We’re a small, wholesome family business based in rural Finksburg, Maryland, where we believe in the power of nature, the value of hard work, and the joy of simple, honest living. My husband Matthew and I, along with our kids, are proud to create gentle, nourishing skincare products made the old-fashioned way — with love, care, and ingredients you can trust.

Lulu Lamb Brand began with a simple mission:
To offer safe, clean, and beautiful products that are free from chemicals and artificial junk — so you can care for your skin the way nature intended.

My journey with sheep milk skin care began in 2010, when I met my husband Matthew. His family had started Maryland’s very first sheep dairy, and it was through him that I was introduced to sheep milk for the first time. As someone who grew up on cow’s milk like most kids in the 80s, I was genuinely surprised by its richness and the many health benefits it offered. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a deep appreciation — not just for the milk, but for the lifestyle and values that came with it.

As a family, we were tired of reading labels and finding ingredients we couldn’t pronounce in things we put on our skin every day. So I turned to what I loved — nature, health, and creating things by hand — and started making soap in my kitchen, the slow and thoughtful way.

What Makes Our Products Special
Each bar of soap, lotion, and scrub is poured by hand in small batches using the cold process method, which helps preserve the nourishing properties of our ingredients — like Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Mango Butter, and Sweet Almond Oil. We scent everything with pure essential oils and never use synthetic fragrances, SLS, parabens, phthalates, artificial colors, or preservatives.

We also keep the naturally occurring glycerin in our soap — a gentle humectant formed during the soap-making process — which, when combined with the richness of sheep milk, creates a deeply hydrating and skin-loving bar.

No two bars are exactly alike — just like no two people are. Each one is cured slowly for 4–6 weeks and wrapped with care.

From our family to yours — thank you for supporting a small business with a big heart. We hope our products bring a little love, comfort, and nourishment to your everyday life.

Love, Naturally.
